After completing his Master's of Accounting from Liberty University in 2009, Isaiah went to work for two small firms in Albany, Oregon over the next four years. At this time he began teaching accounting classes in the evenings for Linn Benton Community College and then for his alma mater, NCU.

 

Isaiah moved his family to enjoy rural life near Salem, Oregon and began working as a senior level preparer and reviewer for a local firm. While there, he spent the majority of his time focusing on tax planning for business owners. This gave him great experience with a variety of business entities and differing levels of individual owners. Isaiah also gained considerable expertise working with Trusts and Estates.

In the Fall of 2017, Isaiah decided to pursue his dream of teaching full-time in higher education at Northwest Christian University. A year later, he moved headlong into his ultimate dream and started Convergent Accounting, LLC. Since that time, the firm has enjoyed rapid growth. Recently the team has grown to include an administrative assistant, bookkeeper, and an accounting intern in order to streamline services for the benefit of all clients.

Isaiah lives on a small farm in Scio, Oregon with his wife, Hannah, and their two children, Annie Jo and Emerson. In his free-time, he loves to spend time working on the farm with his family, hiking, fishing, and hunting, playing guitar, and restoring his classic truck.
